A lot of french based players are missing. prop Irakli Aptsiauri that played 6 ProD2 games this season, hooker Baso Khonelidze that played and won the Espoirs championship final with Aurillac are the 2 biggest loss I think.

Yeah Khonelidze is a big loss.
Arrived late after espoirs heroics with Aurillac.
It is still a good team.
Props look very good. Huge guy in Kuntelia. And mobile runners like Gvelesiani
locks look a bit thin. Burduli is usually back rower.
Shvangiradze is there from Aurillac espoirs and he is super talented.
Iashvili i rate highly at halfback
Be interesting to see Madis Modebadze at first five. I need to see more of Khutsishvili to see he can run the back line.
Looking forward to seeing Kakhoidze at centre. He has got it all to make it as a senior and top flight French rugby.
Bit surprised the U.S based centre Mgaloblishvili missed the final cut.
Back 3 look exciting. Vitali Iremadze looks a good prospect and super fast. Aptsiauri has shown well for lelo club as well.

La vendita dei biglietti è desolante. A Monigo ci sono degli spazi non acquistabili, ma pare chiaro che non siano venduti ma semplicemente riservati, visto che sono gli stessi per tutte le partite.
D'altronde né la FIR né il Benetton stanno facendo promozione, senza contare i prezzi da strozzini per chi non è amico dell'amico.

A me i prezzi non sembrano terribili, sono pur sempre biglietti per 2 partite alla fin fine.

Secondo me potrebbero aver sperato e star sperando soprattutto nel pubblico britannico, che potrebbe essere attratto da un weekend/settimana di Veneto (Romeo&Juliet, il lago di Garda...) + rugby e che forse ha un poco più soldi di quello italiano. Ma forse un torneo U20 estemporaneo non è sufficiente ad attrarre molti tifosi dall’estero

Sono due partite *di u20*, di cui solo una vede coinvolta l'Italia. E poi, quanta gente ha voglia di stare cinque ore allo stadio? Ci fosse la piscina a bordo campo sarebbe un conto, ma c'è solo cemento. A giugno-luglio è molto più attraente passare il pomeriggio nella piscina che c'è a 500 metri o al mare (meno di un'ora di auto) piuttosto che ad arrostirti sugli spalti, sempre se non devi lavorare.

Beh per me é scontato che a queste manifestazioni vanno persone giá dentro al rugby e non "novizi" del rugby.

Mi mettessero un torneo di pallamano (primo sport che non seguo che mi é passato per la testa, nulla di personale contro la pallamano) U20 anche a 5 euro probabilmente non ci andrei ugualmente a giugno-luglio, ne pago piú volentieri 20-30 per un torneo di rugby.

Non mi aspetto che questo torneo apra le porte ad un pubblico non giá "rugbysticizzato" in sostanza.

Qua temo che il problema sia piú che altro un preavviso molto corto, chi vuole fare una vacanza probabilmente si é organizzato largamente in anticipo tenuto conto anche che per 2 anni non si é viaggiato e quindi la gente voglia di viaggiare.

Per la Georgia c'è Modebidze, che scrivono sia nato lì. Io ho trovato traccia che già nel 2015 era in Francia. Potrebbe essere il primo giocatore georgiano interamente formato all'estero?

Edit: Ci sarebbero pure Rapava-Ruskin, emigrato a 2 anni, che però ha giocato solo con la Georgia u19 e Abdaladze del Leinster, emigrato a 5 anni e nel gruppo dell'Irlanda u20 nel 2016. Nessuno dei due ha giocato nell'u20 georgiana o nella maggiore.

Abdaladze di sicuro non é quello del Leinster se nel 2016 era nella U20 Irlandese non puó essere nel 2022 nella U20 Georgiana, Vakh Abdalze ha 26 anni
